Frequently Asked Questions

Tell me about your return policy!

We want you to love your dress as much as we love creating them. However, we understand that sometimes things don't work out. So, here's our return policy: Contact us using our contact form, and let us know you’re unhappy with your purchase. We’ll reach out to learn more & make it right. This may include altering the fit, changing the design, or making other modifications to the dress to meet your needs better. If we can’t satisfy you, we’ll issue a refund for the purchase price of your item returned in its original condition cheerfully.

What is bespoke clothing?

Bespoke clothing is custom-made clothing tailored specifically to the individual customer's measurements and preferences. We make bespoke clothing available to fat babes after a consultation. If the project is one you love and Jenny loves, we’ll agree on the price & project. From there, we use your measurements to create garments that consider your body size, material preferences, and color choices. However, you are trusting us to create a unique design just for you - and leaving some specifics of the final product up to us.

What’s this about Pricing transparency?

It’s really important to me that you understand the cost of creating your clothing. Every item page will state how much the materials (fabric, threads, notions, and other bits & bobs) that go into making your garment cost. In addition, you’ll find a cost for the labor that went into making your garment. We base our hourly labor rate on MIT’s Living Wage Calculator for our local area and add another 15.3% to account for self-employment taxes. Finally, we add another 35% total to the cost of ready-to-ship items to help pay for providing a garment on a sliding scale to a fat babe who might otherwise be unable to afford slow fashion pricing.

Why is international shipping so much?

Squarespace integrations for calculating international shipping aren’t easy to find - so I’ve used some flat rate pricing based on my experience of shipping to Canada, the UK, and Australia. I’ll continue to adjust as I learn more about how much it costs to ship to these countries. Thanks for understanding!
